Andrea Harsell is a Montana singer-songwriter whose music is rooted in the American traditions of folk, blues, country, bluegrass, and jazz. Based in Western Montana, she has built a decades-long career performing original songs for audiences across the United States, with appearances in Canada, Hawaii, and Japan.
With a powerful, supple voice and a passel of outstanding original songs, her songwriting has earned praise for its emotional honesty and authenticity.
A seasoned performer with a magnetic stage presence, Harsell moves easily between intimate acoustic settings and festival stages, bringing warmth, spontaneity, and a genuine connection with her audience to every performance.
Andrea has opened for artists including The Avett Brothers, The Wailers, David Grisman, Big Brother and the Holding Company, Backbone (Bill Kreutzmann of the Grateful Dead), Hal Ketchum, Reckless Kelly, and Old 97’s.
